DESCRIPTION:Discover one of Kielder’s most enigmatic summer visitors\, on an exclusive Osprey Watching Cruise.  \n\n\n\nGuided by expert naturalists\, Wild Intrigue\, you’ll head out onto Kielder Water in search of Ospreys\, which return from Africa to nest here each year. \n\n\n\nYou will have the opportunity to enjoy a short talk\, diving into the fascinating history\, ecology and local conservation of the Osprey\, as we set sail on Kielder Waterside’s comfortable boat\, the “Osprey”.  \n\n\n\nIn 2021\, Kielder Water was home to an impressive seven pairs of Ospreys! So come aboard\, and embark upon this specially-tailored experience\, to have the best chance of seeing and photographing this magnificent birds of prey.  \n\n\n\nOsprey Watching Cruises last approximately two hours\, and take place on Kielder Water\, aboard Kielder Waterside’s comfortable boat\, the “Osprey”.  \n\n\n\nA toilet is available for use on board\, and refreshments are available to purchase. Binoculars will be provided. \n\n\n\nAge: Suitable for all ages\, recommended for ages 13+ (under 18’s must be accompanied by a paying adult) \n\n\n\nPrice £35.00 per person (16 people max) \n\nCruise length: 2 hours \n\nMeeting Location: By the jetty at Kielder Waterside\, a Wild Intrigue guide will be there to greet you. \n\nBook Now\n\n\n\n(You will be re-directed to Kielder Waterside’s booking system\, please search for ‘Osprey Watching Cruise with Wild Intrigue’)
