Afternoon Tea in the Woodland Hide

April 3 @ 1:00 pm 3:00 pm

An Afternoon of delicious enchantment

In the emerald-green woodland of Wild Haweswater’s Naddle Forest a spectacular array of birds sing above the leafy canopy, and feed on the delicacies the woodland provides, whilst Red Squirrels chase one another and leap across ancient Oak bows.

You are invited to a deliciously enchanting Afternoon Tea in the Woodland Hide, to enjoy time in this tranquil corner of Haweswater with Wild Intrigue, who will cordially introduce you to the wild inhabitants of Naddle Forest.

Taking place in Wild Intrigue’s cosy Woodland Wildlife Hide, this exclusive wildlife experience for two is the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the tranquil Lake District landscape. Custom-built to allow close, ethical encounters with wildlife, the Woodland Wildlife Hide has become a place to enjoy time with an array of birds including Nuthatch, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Siskin, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Coal Tit, Robin, Chaffinch, Goldfinch, Sparrowhawk and more, and of course, opportune encounters with beautiful Red Squirrels.

Whilst enjoying watching the antics of wildlife outside, you can enjoy a delicious Afternoon Tea of sandwiches, cakes and scones with jam & cream curated by local Askham Stores, with plenty of accompanying and tea and fresh coffee.

Even better, by booking onto an Afternoon Tea in the Woodland Hide with Wild Intrigue, you are directly supporting RSPB’s vital work in conserving and enhancing the precious habitats of Wild Haweswater.
