Dan Turner or – the Kittiwake King – as we affectionately call him, has been surveying the Tyne Kittiwakes for over 30 years. Dan’s interest and passion for our urban seafarers enables us to understand the movements, ecology and population changes of this urban colony, vital information which is shared through his involvement with the Tyne Kittiwake Partnership and beyond.
