Join us at Ouseburn Farm for an evening in the company of Chris Fitch, author of Wild Cities, who’ll be joining us online to share a talk and discussion.
As always, we’ll have mince pies to enjoy during this pre-Christmas talk!

ABOUT THE TALK + SPEAKER
“The majority of the world now lives in some form of urban environment. But as the human footprint of brick, concrete and metal expands, our proximity to nature decreases. This is a problem; nature isn’t a luxury, it’s a necessity. And it’s vital to our wellbeing.”
Chris Fitch, science and travel writer, takes us on a journey around the world in search of urban projects where nature is not only tolerated, but actively encouraged. From Germany to Japan, Kenya to New Zealand, and beyond, he shares stories from his book Wild Cities: Journeys Through the Modern Urban Jungle, meeting people transforming towns and cities into urban jungles, and asks what the rest of the world can learn from their experiences
Come along for a cosy evening at Ouseburn Farm, as we join Chris together online via the big screen, to hear all about his journeys and discoveries of urban wildlife.

Wild Ouseburn Talks are a welcoming place for everyone to come and discover all things wild. Talks are free and open for everyone to attend, but please RSVP your free place(s), and you will be sent a reminder email a couple of days before the event. Complimentary hot drinks provided.
