What enchanting visions of Ouseburn’s wild future stir your imagination?
Can you picture Otters frolicking and raising their cubs amidst fragrant flowers and lush vegetation along the burn? Might Beavers have returned to the crystal clear waters upstream? Can you hear the joyful chatter of hundreds of Sand Martins soaring overhead in the summer heat? Has the grey of development blossomed into a verdant oasis?
Join local artist and pond ecologist extraordinaire, Mike Jeffries, for an interactive collaging workshop to explore and create your vision for a wilder Ouseburn. All materials will be provided, and you’ll have the chance to take your imaginative artwork home. The workshop will contribute to the creation of a vision for a wilder future in the Lower Ouseburn Valley, through the Wild Ouseburn project.
You will have the chance to look around the Wild Ouseburn exhibition hosted in the Bottleworks too.
Part of the week-long Wild Ouseburn Celebration programme of events. Explore the full programme and find out more about the Wild Ouseburn project here.
