Join the Seabirds in the City project for an evening of film and discussion.

In cities across the United Kingdom and Norway, the kittiwake has gained notoriety for swapping the cliff-ledges of the coast for the artificial structures of the city.

Seabirds in the City is documentary examining what these birds can tell us about environmental change, the health of the world’s oceans, and the future of cities.

We’re delighted to welcome the Seabirds in the City project team as part of our Tyne Kittiwake Week, to share their work in exploring the connections between Kittiwakes and people – in Newcastle and beyond. An evening of film, talks and discussion.
