Stotties & Spuggies

Join us for a special safari to celebrate National Stottie Cake Week!
Meet at Big River Bakery for a fascinating introduction to the local history of stotties, then join Wild Intrigue on a short walk around Shieldfield searching for ‘hoose spuggies’ (House Sparrows!)
We’ll make records of these rare urban birds to contribute to Wild Ouseburn, and talk about the intriguing similarities between them and us. Afterwards, Forum Cafe will be serving free drinks so we can continue our conversations.
This event is in collaboration with Big River Bakery, Dwellbeing Shieldfield, Forum Cafe, and Wild Intrigue’s Wild Ouseburn project.
