Urban Rewilding Sessions – City Stadium Wildflower Meadow

Working alongside the Ouseburn Trust’s regular Saturday morning volunteering sessions, we will be running a monthly ‘Urban Rewilding Session’, undertaking some urban rewilding practices. Everyone is welcome!

In this special session on Saturday 22nd March we’ll be planting a new wildflower meadow at City Stadium. This will involve rolling and moving turf, creating habitat piles, and seeding the new meadow.

The wildflower meadow creation has been funded by Wild Intrigue, and supported by Newcastle City Council, Ouseburn Trust and Newcastle Nature Networks.

All sessions are 10am-12pm, starting from the brightly coloured shipping container behind the Ship Inn.
