Wild Ouseburn Exhibition

An open exhibition celebrating the first year of Wild Ouseburn

Over the past year, the Wild Ouseburn project has explored and documented the diverse wildlife thriving in the Lower Ouseburn Valley. More than 100 people have recorded their sightings, from Otters and Hedgehogs to Ladybirds and Kestrels, creating an understanding of the area’s natural wonders.

A wealth of wildlife data has unveiled new, abundant, and threatened species, along with the seasonal and daily patterns of the wildlife in the Lower Ouseburn Valley. This expansive knowledge provides a powerful platform for understanding the area’s ecology, empowering future efforts to protect and rewild these spaces for generations to come.
