Explore Ouseburn’s wild side

Discover the wonders of Wild Ouseburn as we explore its wild inhabitants, unique spaces, and exciting projects. Starting from the Cycle Hub, we’ll meander along the burn, sharing insights into the work of the Wild Ouseburn project this past year – from Sand Martins campaigns to bat surveys and urban Bison + Boar volunteer days.

Along the way, we’ll record the wildlife we spot, helping to better understand how we can protect and enhance our local natural treasures. Come along to find out how this lush part of Newcastle is one of the most important spaces for wildlife in the city.

The safari will lead from the Cycle Hub along the burn, loop through Ouseburn Woods and end near Ouseburn Farm.
