Habitat Mound Creation | City Stadium

Help create new habitats (and topography) at the City Stadium this February!
During October’s wildflower meadow creation, the leftover turf rolls were used to create a more undulating landscape at the City Stadium. These mounds will provide a new topographical features within the landscape, providing new habitat microclimates for wildlife.
They’ve been an incredible visual success for people walking through, so we’ve been given permission by the NCC Parks team to create some more!
Join us on Saturday 7th February to design and create these new features. Everyone is welcome, all tools and gloves will be provided. Just bring clothes and shoes that are suitable for the weather, and that you don’t mind getting muddy – you might like to bring a drink and snacks too. You can stay for as long or as little as you like.
