OUSEBURN DARK SKIES | Nocturnal Ouseburn Safari

March 24 @ 7:00 pm 8:30 pm

Explore urban wildness after dark

Join Wild Intrigue for a guided, group safari of Ouseburn after sunset to explore how our urban landscape looks, sounds and feels at night.

Together we’ll head off to explore which nocturnal wildlife might be using the burn or Ouseburn Woods, and consider which features of the natural and built landscape may be benefitting, or restricting, wildlife.

This is the perfect opportunity to get accustomed to exploring Ouseburn at night, to find out more about the Wild Ouseburn project, or see a completely different side to the valley.

Most suited to adults, and adults with children aged 14 and above.

This event is part of Ouseburn Dark Skies, a long weekend celebrating our nocturnal wildlife and exploring ways to restore and protect our dark skies for wildlife and people. Discover the full Ouseburn Dark Skies weekend programme here.

This is a free event as part of the Ouseburn Dark Skies weekend, part of the Wild Ouseburn project, thanks to the support of the Malings Community Fund.

Please reserve your free space so we have an idea of numbers, and kindly let us know if you are no longer able to attend closer to the date. You are welcome to get in touch to find out more about the route we’ll be taking beforehand.

With thanks to the support of the Malings Community Fund.
