Kielder Bat Safari

Immerse yourself in the enchanting secret lives of Kielder’s nocturnal neighbours during our guided Bat Safari with local wildlife experts, Wild Intrigue! As the sun sets over the forest, you’ll be equipped with special acoustic bat detectors to eavesdrop on these fascinating mammals as they emerge from their daytime roosts for their evening hunt.

This unforgettable evening experience offers a glimpse into the hidden world of bats, allowing you to witness their aerial acrobatics and observe their summertime social behaviours.

Most suited to ages 7 and above, but all ages welcome. Under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult ticket holder.

Please note when booking: Tickets for this experience will be booked through the Kielder Waterside booking system. You will be directed to the “Nature & Wildlife” section, and from there you simply need to find your preferred date for the Kielder Bat Safari.
