Grab your pups and join Wild Intrigue for an urban wildlife safari through the valley. Find out about the incredible wildlife that calls Ouseburn home, from the Roe Deer of Ouseburn Woods to Kingfishers and Mute Swans on the burn. You’ll also have the chance to hear about a new wildflower meadow project at City Stadium, while our furry friends can stretch their legs!
Borrow a pair of binoculars and keep an eye out for seasonal wonders – along the way you’ll learn top tips for enjoying nature walks with your dog while taking care of the local wildlife. We’ll be sticking to footpaths to protect wildlife, and ask that your pups are kept on leads as we walk through the woodland.
Part of the week-long Wild Ouseburn Celebration programme of events. Explore the full programme and find out more about the Wild Ouseburn project here.
